When I first saw Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail in the grocery shelf 3 years ago, I immediately bought one and tried the recipe a friend gave me. She called it Fruit Cocktail Float, but I want to call it Fiesta Fruit Cocktail Float because when I eat it, it’s like fiesta in my mouth, with all the fruits and the creamy, sweet sauce and the soft, chewy biscuit, oh boy, you will just love the texture and taste of this dessert and it’s so easy as 1-2-3! I usually prepare this dessert whenever...

When you are craving for fruits and something sweet and creamy at the same time, this fruit salad with cream and condensed milk will be perfect. I bought two cans of fruit cocktail in my recent grocery shopping in Metro. Since it’s summer, I thought of making a cold dessert with one of the cans of fruit cocktail and I want it easy and fast. So, for my creamy fruit salad, I just whipped 180ml of cream to 150ml of condensed milk until they were fully mixed. Then, I drained a can of fruit cocktail,...

Since I bought my Kenwood breadmaker, I rarely have store-bought bread. Making bread with the breadmaker is as easy as ABC. With the basic ingredients of egg, milk, flour, sugar, salt, and yeast, I can easily have a freshly baked brioche in just more than 3 hours without using my oven and making my hands dirty. If you don’t have a breadmaker and wonder how it works, here it is: The breadmaker has a booklet of basic bread recipes, using that booklet, follow the recipe of your chosen type...

If you are like me who is a fan of the kulfi from the small ice cream shop in the corner of the petrol station in Bowring near MG Road here in Bangalore, you will wonder where the shop has gone the next time you visited it. For years, every time I go to MG Road, I would always make it a point to stop by for a kulfi in Bowring in that shop in the corner of Indian Oil petrol station. I couldn’t miss it because it was always crowded that’s why when one day I noticed that the ice cream shop...

On the corner of the 6th block opposite Sony world Koramangala is the “America’s healthiest restaurant” as they claim, the Au Bon Pain (pronunced as o-bo-pe).  Au Bon Pain started in Boston and has been selling fresh baguettes and croissants since the 70’s. Finally, it has found its way to India through Bangalore.  Their coffees are cheaper than other cafe but taste really good, though their pastries and breads have the same prices in most cafes. They use Arabica coffee...

Along the residential houses and sometimes beauty parlors and some software offices in Jakassandra Road, Koramangala, hidden a sweet treat, Mamamia! Gelato.  Driving along the road, it would go easily unnoticed, maybe the location is not really good, as it is quite hidden, however, the ice cream flavors are really yummy.   I love to try new flavors, and Mamamia! just really gives those flavors that you would normally not get in a typical ice cream shops. In my several visits, I had the flavors...

A friend recommended me to try momo or dumpling at Zingron. Zingron is a restaurant in Koramangala that serves Naga cuisine as well as other North-East India dishes. Zingron is one of the restaurants in Bangalore that serves pork aside from the usual fish, chicken, and mutton. I ordered two servings of momo, one was steamed and another was fried. The momos were delicious however I waited at least 30 minutes before I got my order.  The price was quite expensive compared to other momo restaurants...
